Hey there Doc!
I was scrolling through some different content this morning, about the fake nor’eastern and there was a link to an article that seemed interesting at the bottom of the page. I followed the link and consumed the content with such voracity that it reminded me of my time in your class. I so enjoyed my time in that class. Not only because of the context, structure, and student interaction, but also and most notably your particular ‘style’. I wanted to reach out and say thank you again for being, and consistently improving YOU! With no further adieu here is the link to the Article that I enjoyed and have every intention of personally sharing.
What can I say? It just goes to show you’re one of the best in the field! 🙂
I pray all is well with you and yours. As always if I can ever assist in anyway, please do not hesitate to ask.
Best Regards,
Steve McCann

Good morning Professor,
I would like to apologize for not responding sooner. I would like to thank you for being so understanding.
While taking your class, I had a cousin(raised like sisters/same age) who had been in and out of ICU as she was battling cancer. I tried so hard to stay focused and a part of me thought I would pass your class with a B/B-.
When I opened your email and read my final grade, I almost cried.
My cousin passed away on 06/17/2019. I had spend time with her especially during her last month where I shared the good news of my final grade….she was proud of me (You were more than fair and understanding so thank you)
I admire and appreciate the work that you do, not just as a professor but working with people that are sick because too often they get looked down on.
Thanks again for you are an amazing professor 🙂
Take care and continue doing the amazing work that you do!
Best,
Melissa
