I provide therapeutic services in Maine, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire. My approach focuses on Social Interpersonal Growth Psychotherapy, emphasizing self-acceptance and growth. My experience includes treating severe mental health disorders such as Schizophrenia, Bipolar, Anxiety/Depression, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorders (PTSD) with co-occurring disorders consisting of alcohol, opioid, stimulant use disorders, and substance induced psychosis. I have been practicing for 15+ years serving in Inpatient/Outpatient Detox Programs, Clinical Stabilization Services, Medication Assisted Treatment Programs, and Structured Outpatient Addictions Programs. I also have extensive experience in the delivery of Alcohol, Opioid, and Stimulant Use Disorder treatment services within the Criminal Justice System, Drug Courts, and Correctional Facilities. My training includes Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Informed Care, Person Centered Therapy, Mindfulness, and Solution Focused Therapies. I have a Ph.D. in Psychology, a M.Ed. in Counseling Psychology, and a MA in Behavioral Psychology. Post-Doctoral studies included understanding addiction as a chronic disease, treating addictions, and understanding the neuroscience of addiction.
